Faith formation most sustainably happens as part of normal family life. Our most committed families prior to the pandemic were only in parish formation programming once a week, most far less than that. The challenges of a post-COVID life have caused us to be even more concerned that families may not return to regular gathered parish life. Our responsibility to help faith to form in our young has not retreated, so it requires a renewed approach that equips families with Christian practices and tools they can use together.
This learning module will help participants to formulate a practical theology of family faith formation, learn the powerful questions neede to learn where families live, and develop a plan that engages the rich resource of family life.
