Are you interested in exploring a more prayerful approach to engaging in God’s mission?
Do you have the desire to live out God’s mission in a way that both positively impacts your community and renews your spirit?

Join Ian Mobsby, community missioner in the Anglican Diocese of Niagara and author of the upcoming book The Seeking Heart, a Contemplative and Spiritual Approach to Mission and Life (Nov. 2024), for a week of engaging learning, contemplative reflection, and missional prayer practices in the context of community. By the end of the course, it is our hope that you will be spiritually renewed and equipped to confidently take the next steps along the unique missional path to which God has called you.

Through five full day of learning and practice, Ian will guide you in exploring a contemplative approach to mission and offer practical opportunities to experience various Ignatian, Benedictine, Franciscan, and Carmelite prayer practices. Through group discussion, reflection, and wisdom sharing, you will explore the reality of our wounding contemporary culture and the healing and missional path God makes available to each of us.

The content of this intensive is based on Ian’s book The Seeking Heart, a Contemplative and Spiritual Approach to Mission and Life, which will be published by SCM Press in London UK in November 2024. This summer intensive is a preview of this ground-breaking new book. Participants will be encouraged to purchase the book when it comes available.
