This course is an introduction to the development of the theology of (mostly) Western Refornation Christianity, covering the period roughly from 1450-1600. We will go over the major developments in the emergence of Reformation and Modern Christianity, as well as examine key thinkers and doctrinal issues.

Dr. Marion Grau is Associate Professor of Theology at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, the Episcopal seminary at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. Professor Grau teaches classes in Constructive Theology. Her areas of interest and research include theology and economy, constructive approaches to soteriology, divine agency, the relation between critical theory and theology, postmodernity, secularism, gender and sexuality in theology, mission and colonialism, process and ecological theologies, among other.
