Ecclesiology by Ballot: General Convention and Governance in the Episcopal Church

This course is an overview of the way the Episcopal Church governs itself, from the local to diocesan to national levels, with particular emphasis on the General Convention. Since General Convention is meeting in July of 2015, this course will focus in particular on important issues and legislation that will be discussed at Convention, including the election of a new Presiding Bishop. This course will fulfill certification in training in Constitution and Canons for persons preparing for ordination.
