About this Event

This event is brought to you by TryTank Experimental Lab and the department of Lifelong Learning at Virginia Theological Seminary

We firmly believe that the digital church is here to stay. But what’s the best way to do online and in-person worship? To answer this question, TryTank offers this masterclass on two consecutive Wednesdays, June 9 and June 16, from 12 – 3 p.m. EST (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST)

The four fundamental pillars of a top-notch hybrid church that will be covered include:

– producing for the medium,

– creating a true digital community,

– fundraising effectively for sustainability, and

– examining the missional theology of a hybrid congregation

Experts in their fields will share research, provide tools, and offer customized training with very practical and actionable tips and tools for congregations. Each participant will leave the masterclass with an action map for application in their context. We encourage congregations to invite a “hybrid ministry team” to participate.

There will also be open office hours on July 21 from 1 – 2 p.m. EST to answer your questions as you begin to implement your action map.
