Is there a children’s book or story you’ve longed to write, perhaps begun, or maybe just carried in your heart for years? We’ll explore the stewardship of our own stories with a window into the world of writing and publishing for children and a focus on encouragement more than critique. Participants will have a written story to take home.

Limit of 12

Becky Birtha is the award-winning author of widely anthologized short stories and poetry for adults and two picture books for children, Lucky Beans and Grandmama’s Pride. With a BS in Children’s Studies and MFA in Creative Writing, she has taught writing at Bryn Mawr and Haverford colleges. She is a member of Central Philadelphia Friends Meeting.
