Together It’s Possible (TIP) is proud to invite you to our annual retreat. This year we are thrilled to host the entire Fialka-Feldman family. Join with Emma, Micah, Janice and Rich as we dream and work toward new possibilities for inclusion in our world. All family members, self-advocates, professionals and welcome to come — because we all need to be included.

About the Fialka-Feldman Family:
The Fialka-Feldman Family, has been active in the disability justice and inclusion movement for over 25 years.  They are guided by the wise words of a mother and professional, Colleen Tomko, “Let not our needs determine our dreams, but let our dreams determine our needs.”
Micah lives in Syracuse and is part of the new wave of students with intellectual disabilities to attend a fully inclusive college program. Micah is a proud member of the U.S. Presidential Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
Emma is a second grade early elementary teacher in Boston in an inclusive classroom.  She writes and presents on sibling issues and inclusive practices.
Janice is a licensed social worker, published author and nationally known workshop leader on the importance of partnership between families and professionals.
Rich has been a Detroit community-labor thinker and activist committed to creating a truly inclusive New American Dream for the 21 century.  He edited the book  End of the Line: Autoworkers and the American Dream.
The family has produced the award winning documentary of Micah’s experience as a college student, Through the Same Door: Inclusion Includes College. In 2009, Family Voices awarded them a Life Time Achievement Award for their work in disability advocacy.
