From the beginning to the end of Jesus’s ministry, the Gospel accounts depict a Christ who repeatedly offers himself up for the sake of those around him, asking his first followers, “What are you looking for?” We will explore Gospel stories that give insight into the many ways Christ makes himself available to us, examine our own receptivity to him, and consider what this means for the relationship between humanity and divinity.
