Paradox can lead us by way of seeming contradictions or sudden reversals to a threshold of grace. In Advent we prepare our hearts for the great paradox of the Incarnation: that God became a human being, Word became Flesh, and dwelt among us. In this retreat, we’ll pray with scripture, poems and icons rich with Advent paradox as we wait expectantly for the coming of Christ.
