Led by the Rev. Matthew Wright and Ward Bauman
$435

This retreat will examine a global shift in spiritual understanding that is resetting contemporary religious experience in a “nondual” or unitive framework, and will specifically explore Christianity as a path of contemplative awakening within this context. We will explore the ways Christianity has lost sight of its own unitive ground, and investigate the heart-centered nature of Christian awakening. Particular attention will be given to the work of Teilhard de Chardin and Beatrice Bruteau, and the important 20th century recovery of The Gospel of Thomas for Christian contemplative study and practice.
