Preaching

Speaking the Word Freely is a course that enables participants to convert their sermon manuscripts into powerful oral presentations. The system Pastor Larson teaches centers on a certain kind of oral rehearsal, which he helps each student master in individual sessions. Students bring a sermon manuscript with them to the class and learn to speak it freely without reading or memorizing the text. This system works for anyone willing to add an hour or two of oral rehearsal to their sermon preparation time. Here are a few comments from pastors who have taken the course in the past.

“I love this new way of preaching. I am so much more into what I am saying. I have gotten lots of positive comments and support.”

  • “I’ve been speaking freely for the last three sermons I’ve delivered. I have had several parishioners compliment my connection with them through the sermon and the passion with which I deliver it now.”
  • “Now when I preach I am passionate about what I’m saying, and it’s conveyed to the congregation. “
