March 3-4, 2014 Preaching the Old Testament Bible
This special KAIROS course, offered in conjunction with the inaugural Terence E. and Faith L. Fretheim Lecture in Biblical Theology, invites pastors and church leaders to reflect on the theological and homiletical richness of the Old Testament. A team of instructors, including Luther Seminary faculty members and Dr. Walter Brueggemann, this year’s Fretheim lecturer, will present strategies for preaching texts across the Old Testament canon. In addition to the course sessions, participants will attend the Fretheim Lecture and a public conversation between Brueggemann and Terence Fretheim.
