Praying the Body: A Gardening Retreat

Using the Holy Cross gardens as our workshop, we will focus on the body as a tool and locus for prayer. We’ll work in the garden each day practicing our prayer, and will also take time to reflect on that practice through the lens of Christian spirituality. The retreat will include an afternoon trip to Innisfree Garden in Millbrook, NY. No gardening experience is necessary. Please feel free, should you wish, to bring your favorite garden tools, plants to add to the garden, or a journal.
