What would it be like to open your voice from the soles of your feet and the seat of your soul? What gifts does your voice hold for you and for the world?
Your voice is the path for your truth to enter the world. Join us to discover new ways to speak, sing and embody your soul’s unique message.
Barbara and Dianne will lead participants in a journey of vocal play, silence, oral tradition community singing, movement and reflection to explore the wild and wide nature of our voices, and the things that impede us from using our full voice in the world.
The retreat will be bounded by the principles of Circles of Trust, with both safety and invitation to step into deep reflection and sharing, as a means of letting your soul speak and sing its truth.
While there will be many invitations to sing, no prior singing experience is necessary to enjoy this retreat. The weekend will also offer times for open song circles, silent hikes, practicing care for the earth at Kirkridge, and ample rest. Join us for this feast of sound, song, trust, and play.
