The desert will lead you to your heart where I will speak.– Hosea 2:14 This course is designed to open and strengthen the body with daily yoga and still the mind with various meditation practices (sitting and walking), guided visualizations and walks in nature. Sacred and reflective poetry and prose will also be woven into the class for discussion and reflection, as well as two field trips to places that inspire. An art project called vision boarding will also be a part of our process to help deepen and reinforce our connection to ourselves and share with others in the group. Designed to add balance and joy to the body/mind/spirit and reinforce healthy practices that can easily be incorporated in daily living, this course may be perfect for anyone in transition or seeking to deepen inner peace and calm. No previous yoga experience necessary, and mats and props provided. Students are asked to provide their own journals or notebook.

“I find yoga and massage the perfect compliment for maintaining health and well-being, as well as powerful preventative medicine that can help one age gracefully. I continue my studies in both, and find great joy in sharing my knowledge with others, especially in powerful places such as Ghost Ranch. This place feeds and heals the soul and is also perfect for strengthening and attending to the physical body. Come join me for an inspiring week of wellness and attention to your body/mind/spirit with a few different options for classes.
