O Come, Thou Wisdom from on High: An Advent Retreat
Jesus, the Word born of the flesh of Mary the Godbearer, is also the eternal Wisdom of God who ‘reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other’ and ‘orders all things well’. This retreat will offer contemplation of the divine vision for ‘a new heaven and a new earth’. In expectant silence, prayer, worship and rest, we await the coming of the Christ, and prepare to join in the doing of justice, the making of peace and reconciliation, and the healing of the whole human family and the planet.
