The Spawning Grounds is a week-long writing retreat hosted by internationally best-selling author Gail Anderson-Dargatz. Held in the first week of October each year, and timed to coincide with the sockeye run on the Adam’s River, the unique retreat is a perfect getaway for both Shuswap-Thompson-Okanagan writers and those who are visiting the breathtaking landscape found in so much of Gail’s writing.
Bring your fiction up to the next level in five morning workshops with Gail and enjoy a relaxed, restful atmosphere in which to write for the rest of the day. Aside from the morning workshop critique from Gail and the other writers, you’ll also take part in a one-on-one brainstorming session with Gail.
Count on an experience that will jump start your project and transform your writing life. To register for this program please visit Gail’s website. Accommodation and meals can be booked through Sorrento Centre here.
