With Hearts Wide Open

Do you yearn to explore a way of leading that is more aligned with your heart?

Are you seeking community and support for this heart-led way?

With hearts wide open, we can see how to lead in a contemplative way. And doing this can dramatically change how we lead in the workplace, shifting us from a controlling power to the power of love and compassion.

Through two content videos, Leah Rampy will help explore compassion and power as dimensions of contemplative leadership and will offer space for reflection, contemplative practice and sharing with other leaders. The day will also include practical resources, time for individual journaling and silent prayer.

Contemplative leadership can be very challenging no matter the workplace. Find the practices and support you’ll need to remain spacious, flexible and open to the True Leader, the Spirit.

Dates: The workshop can be taken any of the three days the weekend of Thursday, October 9 to Saturday, October 11, 2014. There will be a live chat session on Friday at noon.

Time: The course is comprised of morning and afternoon sessions. You may access these whenever you wish during the three days of the retreat weekend, though the ideal approach is to set aside a single day.

Leader: Leah Rampy, Shalem’s Executive Director, has a background in corporate management and leadership consulting as well as a deep passion for contemplative living and care of the Earth. She has a PhD in Curriculum from Indiana University and has served as adjunct faculty for a variety of Shalem programs and retreats.
