West Coast Ecumenical is very pleased to inform you that Fr. Michael Fish, OSB,CAM will be returning to the Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo, BC to direct a silent, contemplative week.  The theme of Fr. Michael’s workshop is “Celtic Spirituality” and he describes his approach as follows:

“The existence of an ancient Christian Celtic spirituality is of immense wealth and importance for today.  A spirituality that incorporates respect and love of nature and creation, an awareness of the mystery at work in everyday life, the sacredness of seasons restoring us to cosmic harmony; as well as the discovery of the wildness in God, prayer and ourselves.

Through myth, prayer and poetry you are invited to connect to what is most sacred within you and rest in the liminal spaces of the imaginal world so as to embrace the mystery and awe of everyday life.  Celtic Spirituality offers this opportunity and is, indeed the jewel of the past and hope for the future.”

This event will take place from Sunday night dinner, August 27th to Friday lunch, September 1st, 2017 at the Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo, BC.  The cost for the 5 days including room, 3 meals a day + snacks is:
