October 8-9, 2014 Narrative Lectionary Workdays—Christmas through Spring 2015: The Gospel of Matthew Preaching
From Christmas 2014 through the spring of 2015, the Narrative Lectionary will be based on the Gospel of Matthew. The workdays are designed for those who are using the Narrative Lectionary this year or are interested in learning more about the Narrative Lectionary. Sessions include:
- An introduction to the unique themes of the Gospel of Matthew
- An overview of the 2014-2015 Narrative Lectionary
- The role that scriptural fluency plays in forming Christian faith
- Preaching narrative texts
- Worship resources for the Narrative Lectionary, particularly related to the Gospel of Matthew
- Educational resources
