Leadership
Hanaa Rashid
Hanaa Rashid is a Muslim Canadian woman. She has grown up and lived in Nova Scotia and is the mother of two daughters. Presently, she is working on her Masters in Social Work at Dalhousie University and hopes to graduate in 2014. She has been an active community volunteer and her passion is to “build bridges” between communities.
Fatema Sidat
Fatema Sidat is Muslim woman of Indian decent born and brought up in Canada. A Full-time mother of three boys, part-time educator, and aspiring “mompreneur” (mother – entrepreneur), she runs a home business and designs her own jewelry and clothing line. She has studied in South Africa and holds a diploma in Islamic Theology.
Martha Martin
Martha Martin, Program Resource Group (PRG) facilitator, is a Diaconal Minister in the United Church of Canada.
She has spent many years as a university chaplain, both in ecumenical and multifaith settings. She is currently United Church Chaplain at Dalhousie and Coordinator of the Dalhousie Multifaith Centre.
