Austin Spry is the incumbent of the Boundary Parish (Holy Trinity – Grand Forks, St. Jude’s – Greenwood, and St. Mary’s – Kettle Valley). His previous educational experience in agricultural economics and global resource systems has given him a keen sense of the church’s role in informing our human relationship with Creation and of the threat climate change poses to human societies. Austin has many interests and passions, but these days caring for four children (five years old and younger) with his wife Ingrid makes raising humans his #1 occupation beside ordained ministry.
Kevin Zakresky is an orchestral and choral conductor living in Vancouver. He has recently toured throughout Canada and the United States as conductor of the National Geographic: Symphony for our World and was previously conductor of the Zelda Symphony, a two-year tour that brought him to orchestras in South America and Europe. He is Music Director of the Players & Singers ensemble and organist of St Matthias and St Luke Church in Vancouver. He received his Doctorate in Choral Conducting from Yale University in 2012.
