Wisdom Literature in the Old Testament (1213-34)

This class will focus on the books of Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes. Along the way we will also survey the Wisdom Psalms and the overall Wisdom Movement in Ancient Israel. The emphasis in the class will be on the “big questions,” such as how Wisdom deals with justice.
