Weathered Warriors ~ Emerging Elders

October 27, 2014 - November 2, 2014

Workshop ID: G14S1111C
Dates: October 27, 2014 – November 2, 2014 Price: $405.00

This retreat will explore how men growing into elders can help themselves and others overcome social and emotional adversity.  Using the strengths of their own life experiences, participants will learn strategies to teach others a sense of Mastery (optimism, self-efficacy and adaptability), a sense of Relatedness (trust, support, comfort, tolerance) and a sense of emotional recovery. The participants will share their personal narratives and wisdom for the benefit of others. This retreat is for men who have a willingness to identify and acknowledge their strengths and support others in times of social and emotional difficulties.
