Leaders have choices. How do some people develop the capacity to look at challenging situation and always ask “what is possible?” A few of us want to engage a conversation about imagining new ideas, promising new partnerships and shifting this world a bit faster on the arc toward inclusion and justice for all people. Join us.

Bill Golderer is a serial social impact founder, committed citizen and trusted Christian pastor.  In the last decade he has worked across the sectors of faith, education, nonprofit, government and the private sector to make our region more faithful, generous and just.  Bill is the Founder of Broad Street Ministry in Center City Philadelphia which drives cross-sector collaboration to lift people out of homelessness and hopelessness.  He is also a Founder of the Rooster Soup Company, the nation’s first for profit, crowd-funded social impact restaurant that will create jobs and return revenue to Philadelphia’s most impoverished citizens.  In 2008, Bill became the Senior Pastor of the Arch Street Presbyterian Church, one of Philadelphia’s fastest growing and most diverse and dynamic congregations.  As part of his ministry there, Bill spearheaded the creation of Arch Street Preschool. This unique preschool’s mission is to deliver excellent and equitable educational readiness to Philadelphian’s children regardless of their family’s income. Its model is currently being replicated in several cities’ efforts to provide universal and equitable pre-K.  Concerned with the corrsosive and divisive state of our politics, Bill recently ran for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives having never before run for any elective office. Bill has authored a number of articles and op-eds, contributed to several books, and has been a commentator for Huffington Post, CNN, and The History Channel.  Bill continues to lecture and teach coursework at institutions including Princeton Theological Seminary, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia. Bill serves on several governing and advisory boards of arts, social service, and social innovation organizations in the Philadelphia area. In 2010, he was named as one of Philadelphia’s 101 Connectors by Leadership Philadelphia.
