The Word Discerned and Embodied: A Discipleship of the Land

Guided Retreat:

Friday, January 20 – Sunday, January 22, 2012

As we move into a post-Christian world two things are necessary and primary to our future: a recovery of discipleship as the basic model for Christian life and a reconnection of our moral life to our ecological existence.

John the Baptist and the Blessed Virgin Mary are the two primary windows or icons of this way of life.

Led by The Rt. Rev. Mark MacDonald, the Anglican Church of Canada’s first National Indigenous Bishop and formerly Bishop of the U.S. Episcopal Diocese of Alaska.

Begins 4 pm Friday; ends 1:30 pm Sunday. Fee is $200; the deposit is $35.
