Shakespeare’s phrase for Italic handwriting in his comedy “Twelfth Night” indicates that the English aristocracy of his day retained Italian writing masters to teach them the newly developed script of the Italian Renaissance. Is your inner aristocrat yearning for expression? This workshop in the fundamentals of the Italic Hand could be just the ticket. Intended both for beginners and those who wish a refresher, it will teach the letterforms of the entire alphabet, leaving participants with a repertoire.

Cost: $295, deposit: $80
