Located two miles from the main campus, Casa del Sol is a retreat house at Ghost Ranch dedicated to deeper spiritual contemplation. In 2013 many workshops which are conducive to small group work and contemplative space are being held at Casa del Sol. These workshops are designated with the sun symbol beside the title throughout workshop description pages.
This week-long spiritual retreat supports participants in a deep exploration of their personal spiritual lives in a small group setting, deeply enriching their relationship with God/Spirit and recognizing the ways that God is present and working in their lives. Experienced spiritual directors facilitate and guide participants in developing their skills in deep listening and personal discernment. The program introduces members to the deep and expansive practices of Christian spiritual formation, the ancient practice of Spiritual Direction and a process whereby participants will discern the next steps of their spiritual journey. Open to all and required for those who desire to become spiritual directors. Clergy, lay ministry leaders, pastoral care providers, hospice and hospital chaplains and other helping professionals are frequent participants.

Rev. Judith Favor is a seasoned spiritual director, ordained in the United Church of Christ, and teaches at Stillpoint and the Claremont School of Theology. She worships with Quakers, is a grandmother, and lives with spouse Pete Nelson in community at Pilgrim Place, Claremont, California.
Christopher McCauley is the Executive Director, Stillpoint: The Center for Christian Spirituality, in Pasadena, California. He is also a spiritual director, worships in the Episcopal Church, and leads interfaith pilgrimages. Christopher is a member of the coordinating Council of Spiritual Directors International, the first global learning network of spiritual directors in history.
Ravi Verma is a spiritual director and has worked professionally with churches and lay leaders for over twenty-five years. Ravi’s passion is to work with individuals and groups to build bridges between parts of ourselves, with others and the cosmos based on our connection to the Divine. Ravi, born in India, now teaches at Stillpoint, and works with corporations, retreat centers, and non-profits on issues of spiritual development.
