“In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we invite Franciscans and Franciscan- hearted people and all interested, to a multi-day exploration of the varied landscapes of Kirkridge with your senses.  This 75 year old center for peace and justice work, where all are welcome, offers varied natural spaces that remind us to connect or reconnect to God through direct experience with land, water, plants, soils and wildlife. Come to this “national park for the soul” and walk the land where George MacLeod of Iona, Desmond Tutu, Fr. John Dear, Dorothy Day, Wendell Berry, and many others have renewed their spirits. Explore the 100+ acre reserve that the Nature Conservancy of Pennsylvania protects for perpetuity. Explore the micro habitats and the macro landscapes to see how the land speaks to you, your life story, and your work in this Circle of Trust® experience. Meet others engaged in caring for people and the planet. Leave with new inspirations, ideas, and knowings to take on your journey ahead.”

Diane Petteway is a facilitator for the Center and Renewal, a writer, musician, retreat and faith leader from Raleigh, North Carolina.  A retired public school teacher, she is passionate about opening spaces for soulful, authentic conversation.  Diane serves as a member of the Board of Kirkridge and leads retreats as a member of the Kirkridge Fellows.
