Recent years have brought a recovery of feminine images of God, yet many people still struggle to overcome lifetimes of exposure to exclusively masculine imagery. Join the Companions of Mary the Apostle, in this exploration of images of the divine in the feminine through the history of Christianity. Come, and deepen your connection with Her and to rediscover yourself in this relationship with the Divine that is central to our lives. This retreat is open to women and men.
Shane Phelan and Elizabeth Broyles, both Episcopal priests, retreat leaders and spiritual directors, are the first Companions to be in residence at Holy Cross Monastery.
