Hauerwas will also do an evening lecture on Bonhoeffer entitled Why Bonhoeffer Matters for Anyone (But Particularly for Pastors).

Hauerwas will spend 6 hours of class instruction time with students and 2 hours in the evening lecture and followup. The remaining 7 hours of classroom instruction will be offered by
Rev. Dr. Jonathan Wilson.

Stanley Hauerwas is the Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics at Duke University Divinity School. He was named “America’s best theologian” by Time magazine, and his book
A Community of Character was chosen as one of the 100 most important religious books of the 20th century.
