All Day
Rest, renewal, and relaxation can be hard to find in our fast-paced world. Join us as we explore an ancient spiritual technique of staying healthy, sane, and positive: Shabbat (Sabbath), weekly day of rest. Shabbat is both practical and spiritual, part ancient labor legislation, part celebration of creation.
Experience the rhythm of a traditional 25-hour Jewish Shabbat. Together, we will prepare with anticipation, slow down in wonder and gratitude, and re-enter life rejuvenated. We will enjoy rituals for beginning and ending Shabbat; explore themes of wonder and gratitude from the Shabbat liturgy; study Biblical and Kabbalistic interpretations and more. Be prepared to sing, study, discuss, relax, and more.
