Poetry’s Promise – A Writer’s Weekend Retreat

Tap into the force of your creative spirit through poetry! In this course, we’ll focus on writing poetry as a means of self-awareness and as a way of being present to—and experiencing!—the beauty of the world. This generative weekend retreat focuses on targeted writing experiences, and we’ll explore and write several different types of poetry. You’ll leave the weekend with a small collection of new poems and constructive feedback on your work. This weekend is flexible enough for writers of any level and will explore craft and technique as well as the art, heart, and soul of poetry.
