This program will introduce students to pastoral ministry by exploring practical theology. Practical theology is not simply the practical application of abstract theological theories; it is a way of doing theology that connects theory with practice, action with reflection, in service of the church and the world. This program will explore contemporary methods and themes of practical theology with a focus on assessing, interpreting, and contributing to the current state of the church and the world.
