Celebrate the coming of the New Year at Pendle Hill. Be inspired by a musical adventure with Maestro Karl Middleman, renew body and spirit in a mindfulness retreat led by Valerie Brown, or combine creativity with reflection in the art studio with Melanie Weidner. However you participate in our New Years programming, you will be treated to a delicious home-cooked New Year’s Eve dinner, a chamber concert featuring returning soprano sensation Jessica Lennick, and our traditional midnight meeting for worship.
Relax into a time of serene rest and renewal. Open to the new year’s unfolding with a retreat that honors your heart, mind, and soul. Practice mindfulness in the rhythms of daily life with sitting, walking, and eating meditation, as well as mindful dialogue. Savor sustained periods of silence, quiet reflection with poetry and stories by the fireplace, small and large group discussion, creative arts, laughter, gentle Kundalini yoga, and deep relaxation. Restore your spirit and enter the new year with greater calm, clarity, and energy – and ways to sustain them in the coming year.
