Ignite your creativity and move your body with vocal play! Musician Shannon Kingsbury will guide you through a collaborative sounding experience exploring the voice-body-heart connection. This inclusive workshop will move through moods ranging from meditative to dynamic. All voices are welcome regardless of experience. Bring comfortable clothing and an open mind.
Leadership:
Shannon Kingsbury is a singer, songwriter, harpist and music educator based in Guelph Ontario. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre Program, Shannon’s eclectic performance career has ranged from performing on film soundtrack to stage to studio. Along with Sue Smith, Shannon is Co-Artistic Director of Ondine Chorus, vocal ensemble, and SKSS Productions, creating unique multi-discipline performance arts shows. As an educator, Shannon has taught with many outstanding arts organizations and studios including Kingsbury Music, Guelph Dance Festival, Creativity Greenhouse, Season Singers and more. Shannon holds certificates in Early Childhood Music, Orff, Voice and Music Theory from The Royal Conservatory of Music and Kodaly pedagogy from Wilfred Laurier University.
