* Silent Retreat
How can we be shaped in such a way that our life becomes an expression of the spirit of Christ himself? The spiritual path of Christian devotion forms us to simply enter a life with God, a conversational and redemptive relationship in which our own life becomes open to the Holy Spirit. Centering Prayer is a spiritual practice that supports this transformation. During this retreat we will enter an atmosphere of silence, solitude and stillness. We will enter the world of the Psalms and the wisdom of the Mystics, those saints who have gone before us on the path of Christian devotion. A special New Years Eve centering prayer service will usher us in to the new year.
Participants should already have an established practice of Contemplative Prayer, such as Centering Prayer, or any form of silent prayer. This retreat will not offer a method of Contemplative Prayer but will aid you in deepening your encounter with God by plumbing the depths of silent prayer.
Cost: $230, deposit: $80
