Quiet Saturday: September 11, 2014

Br. Ignatius, OFM, will talk first about lectio divina, an ancient way of praying with Scripture. In this ‘holy reading’ we pay attention to the words and images that catch our heart, while attending to what God might want to say to us.

His second talk, visio divina, will be about ‘holy looking’, a way of praying with an object of art, a religious object, or with nature. There will be an opportunity for prayer with both lectio and visio divina.
