LEARNING TO UNDERSTAND AND DEAL WITH FEELINGS-led by Dr. Sebastian Fazzari, Ph.D
As we progress in our growth, we may come to notice emotions that we are unaccustomed to experience beginning to surface. When we face situations that we used to avoid, we begin to experience more intense feelings. This is a sign that we are on the right path. Individuals who experience anxiety and phobias tend to have difficulty with feelings. They may even have difficulty knowing what they feel. The tendency is to withhold these feelings, which inevitably aggravates the stress and the anxiety.
Participants will learn how to increase their awareness of these feelings, and will be provided with mechanisms to identify and express them more readily and effectively.
