Workshop: A workshop for leaders of youth and for those interested in deepening capacity for ministry with youth and young adults. There will be opportunities to connect with other youth leaders and to share visions and successes as well as a variety of models for moving youth ministry out of conventional “youth group” approaches and into engagement in fuller and deeper ministry with youth and young adults.
Leader: Kathy Douglas is the Huron-Perth Presbytery Youth Minister. Finding ways to engage youth in authentic and meaningful ways with the world and their church community, is a passion that keeps her ministry alive and wonderful. Youth and adults, ‘church folks’ and social agencies, clergy and lay, seekers and believers are but a few of the groups, Kathy brings together to plan programs and events that highlight the gifts of the spirit and deepen a relationship with the divine.
