P 108 Pastoral Care and Education
This course will focus on the pastoral care and the education of individuals and small groups. The organizing principle for pastoral care will be the liturgies of the church: baptism, reconciliation, marriage, ministry to the sick and homebound, ministry at time of death, and funerals. Education of the whole people of God will be explored through an examination of theories of faith development as well as teaching and learning styles. We will also discuss criteria for choosing curriculum.
