Introduction to Expressive Arts – Haliburton School of The Arts

When we provide the right conditions for ourselves, we open the door to growth. Tapping into our creativity provides a natural source of imagery and energy to use for healing and personal expression. This course will introduce you to the theory and practice of the expressive arts. If you are working in the human service field, you will learn about the applicability of visual arts, music, writing, movement and theatre to your work settings.
Dates: September 27-30, 2016 (Tuesday to Friday)
Course Schedule: The course starts on Tuesday, September 27th at 10:30am and ends Friday, September 30th with lunch being served at 12:30pm. The schedule for the course will be a 9am start (after the first day) and end in the evening at 8:30pm – except the last day.

Fee: $340.58* tuition paid to Haliburton plus $445 or $290 paid to Five Oaks for meals and accommodations – see details below. There will also be a $20 material fee payable to the instructor.
Staying on-site at Five Oaks:
$445 – includes overnight accommodation and all meals from lunch on the 27th to lunch on the 30th
Commuting:
$290 – includes lunch and supper each day of the program
