Sunday, June 16 – Friday, June 21, 2013
When Christians from the future look back at us early twenty-first century folk they will be mystified as to why we seemed to have a lot of problems about our faith. “But” they will say,” wasn’t their age becoming more and more spiritual at that time. So why were they not excited and hopeful”?
Well, we who have to live at this present time know that its a bit more complicated than that. Lets a have a look together at what it may mean to be Christian in these early years of the 21st century.
Let’s try to push aside – even a little bit – that curtain of time and try to see what things might be ahead. Could be interesting – and even fun.
Join us. And what does that “white dove” stuff mean? Come and find out! See you in Sorrento.
HERBERT O’DRISCOLL is active living in what he calls virtual retirement. This means doing all sorts of things in the church which, with all its faults and frustrating features, he has always loved and always will. He hopes to stay in this virtual retirement for ever but the decision about this lies in other and greater hands. Meanwhile he keeps busy.
