Holy Land Journeys

For individuals, couples and smaller groups who want to join with others to experience biblically based travel, the Gold Standard journey is designed with interests in offering you the highest standard of travel and introducing you to the best archaeological sites and holy shrines in the Holy Lands.

Pre planned departure dates occur in January, February and March in 2017. You can choose the departure date that fits your schedule and let us know your preferred domestic departure city. The prices are based on departures from New York, so the cost of your domestic leg will be added to your invoice, as will other elections you might make, such as optional travel insurance, single room supplements and post or pre journey electives.

As with our Custom Select journeys, you will have a distinctive travel experience involving historical exploration and contemporary relevance as well. All our journeys feature socially responsible travel. The Gold Standard itinerary will be enriched with visits to church supported mission sites and conversations with local people on various topics of interest, especially related to peace making and justice, interfaith relations and the history and role of the church in the Holy Lands. You will be escorted by our team of local guides who are fluent in English as well as their native languages. As with all our journeys, you will experience the Holy Lands in unique and distinctive ways and you will follow an itinerary available only with The Society for Biblical Studies.
