Led by Fr. Bob Pierson, OSB
Our image of God is very important for our spiritual life. Is God a loving parent? Is God a just judge? Scripture tells us that God is merciful, but it also contains a great deal of material that paints an angry, judgmental picture of God. In this retreat, Fr. Bob will share his own experience of coming to a deeper understanding of God’s love and mercy for us through his reflection on those Gospel passages that describe Jesus’ experience of God’s love and mercy.
Fr. Bob has been a Benedictine monk for more than thirty years. Since April 2013, he has been living and working at Holy Cross Monastery, helping with individual spiritual direction and leading group retreats.
