Healing Grief Around the Sacred Wheel
Healing Grief Around the Sacred Wheel is for anyone struggling with moving through the pain of loss, including the recent or past illness or death of a loved one or pet; or other life transition, like loss of job, home, community, who would like to gather with other grief-hearted ones to find healing in an open, supportive, gentle atmosphere. Within our grieving hearts we carry the secrets to our pain and our healing…hidden grief energy held in our thoughts, beliefs, emotions and physical bodies that may interfere with the natural healing flow of grief. Together we will enter the healing movement around the ancient Sacred Wheel through the four directions, or aspects, of our human experience of grief. Led by Cheryl Downey, a retired hospice chaplain and shamanic practitioner, the group will explore their unique grief from within one of the four directions each day via lectures, guided meditations, ceremony and the creation of sacred art with plenty of time to commune with Nature/the land and let Her speak. A list will be sent out indicating important items to bring.
Please note that our workshop price structure packages your tuition, course materials, lodging and meals together in a single rate. Prices are presented for each of the types of lodging available for the workshop you select. All rates are Per Person, Double Occupancy unless otherwise specified.
Single Occupancy: Single occupancy rooms may be reserved for an additional $50 per night when space is available. The fee will be charged when space is confirmed. Single occupancy lodging is generally not available during June and July. If you are a single person and do not specify a roommate, a roommate of the same gender will be assigned to share your lodging space or you can request the single occupancy and be charged the supplement of an additional $50 per night (based on availability).
