Healing Gifts For Wounded Hands: Receptive Ecumenism

June 23, 2014 - June 28, 2014
Rome
Italy

Monday 23 – Saturday 28 June 2014

This course offers an introduction to the practice of a novel and transformative approach to ecumenism as commended by the Third Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC-III). ‘Receptive Ecumenism’ has already had a refreshing effect in several parts of the world. It asks: what can we learn and receive with integrity from traditions other than our own. When people from different denominations explore these questions, they – from parishes or Christian agencies – are opened up to new ways of mission. Come and be transformed by interaction with your ecumenical partners.

The cities of Rome and the Vatican offer some unique opportunities to experience other aspects of the ecumenical dimension as well as visit some of the most important sites associated with early Christianity in Rome.

The course will be led by Archbishop David Moxon, Director of the Anglican Centre and Anglican co-chair of ARCIC-III.

Cost €520
