This J-term course for current Luther Seminary students covers the sweep of the biblical story. Now it is open to a limited number of pastors and lay leaders as continuing education. The first week covers the Old Testament; the second week, the New Testament. For 10 afternoons (12:30 – 4:20) in January the group will journey from the dawn of creation to the gates of the New Jerusalem. The Bible is our text. Participants not only read the Bible but experience it through music, drama, and visuals. During this course class members create their own study Bibles and gather materials that can be used for their own teaching. A great way to develop ways of teaching a Bible overview in congregations. A fast and fun way to review the Bible as a whole.
