Join us for a gathering with The United Church of Canada Moderator Mardi Tindal. Experience her leadership in this retreat of deep listening to God’s call within covenant relationship for the healing of soul, community, and creation. The Moderator invests much of her energies in inviting and facilitating reflection and conversation about how ‘we participate in God’s work of healing and mending creation’ as our Song of Faith says. Come to be nourished and inspired in this conversation within a warm circle of living faith!
Leadership:
Mardi Tindal is an adult educator and facilitator, organizational consultant, author, and video producer who has served in several roles at all levels of the church. Mardi was most recently the Executive Director of Five Oaks Centre, a United Church education and retreat centre near Paris, ON. In the 1980s and 1990s Mardi was a co-host, story producer, and writer with the United Church TV program, Spirit Connection. Mardi has been shaped profoundly by Parker Palmer and the Centre for Courage & Renewal in Bainbridge Island, Washington. It is there she learned about the concept of circles of trust. She says, “I am committed to creating safe space for souls to show up completely.”
