In this retreat, we will delve into Creation Spirituality using Matthew Fox’s four recent new or updated books. The sessions will focus on: Sins of the Spirit, Blessings of the Flesh: Transforming Evil in Soul and Society; A Way to God: Thomas Merton’s Creation Spirituality Journey; Confessions: The Making of a Post Denominational Priest; and Stations of the Cosmic Christ.

Matthew Fox has authored four books (two of them new editions of previous books) in the past six months): In November, an updated version of his autobiography that covers the last 18 years of his life since the book Confessions was first published; in March, a revised edition of his book on SIns of the Spirit, Blessings of the Flesh: Transforming Evil in Soul and Society with a new Preface and a Foreward by Deepok Chapra; in March also a new book called Stations of the Cosmic Christ co-authored with Bishop Marc Andrus and with powerful icons of the 7 ‘I Am’s’ created by potter M.C. RIchards plus 9 icons of the Cosmic Christ events such as Nativity, Baptism, Transfiguration, etc. by sculpture Ullrrich Javier Lemus.  And, in May, a new book called A Way to God: Thomas Merton’s Creation Spirituality Journey.
